The north, from Berwick down to Seahouses, has the dramatic castle backdrop of Bamburgh, Holy Island on the horizon and some of the quietest beaches in England. Further south, Amble, Druridge Bay and Cresswell give you long, dune-backed beaches and Northumberland’s famous dark sky access — ideal for evening walks.
